Prague Czech Beer Restaurant

We all know that heartbreaking moment when the food arrives and everyone else’s dish looks better than what you’re having. It’s enough to put tears in your beer.

Let us explain: drunk on its own sophistication, TwoThousand decided to order the "Piquant Mystery of our Head Chef" ($19.90) at the Prague Czech Beer Restaurant, without actually knowing what "piquant" meant. Never mind that everyone else was ordering more sensible dishes like the "Cordon Bleu Schnitzel with Czech Potato Salad" ($19.50) and the "Grilled Pork Fillet with Pepper Cream Sauce and Potato Gems" ($18.90).

After condescendingly telling the others to take a dip in the deep end, TwoThousand got what was coming to it when out came what looked, and tasted, like a Westfield food court oyster-sauce stir fry wrapped up in an enormous green pancake.

TwoThousand’s bitter mumblings aren’t worth repeating, but if the taunting "Mmmm’s" of its cruel friends are anything to go by, the Prague Czech Beer Restaurant is definitely worth a trip.**
