Canadian owner Brody Petersen and his team have brought a fresh new eatery to the Bondi area. It’s a little dark, it’s full of atmosphere and it’s loaded with a whole wall of different cocktails (not to mention a crew of damn attractive staff). The Flying Squirrel quickly jumped to success as rumours began to circulate about the cool setting and easy food.**The neck-to-toe tattooed owner splits his time between Tamarama beach and getting his great team of chefs preparing some simple and tasty treats. The Squirrel’s only downside (which on the upside, helps the intimacy factor) is the size of the place. It’s a little tight, but there are big plans to expand up one level soon.
