Herschel Bags

Let’s not get into how non-functional tote bags are. Sure, they used to look cool with your Docs and corduroy pants but things have changed since CD burners and faux-Burberry ruled the 90s. Me? I like to be smart when I go out. Give me comfortable shoes, a loose-fitting hoodie and a filthy old backpack because, in facilitating a public drinking habit, mobility and stealth is key.

That’s not to say I’ve stopped caring about my appearance in favour of cash poor convenience, because Icarus is now stocking a Canadian line of simple, functional and good-looking backpacks. The Herschel range of classic packs – with synthetic leather bottom, two compartments and a key clip – mean I can cast aside the shackles of aching shoulders and bulky gear, while evading angry bouncers and pissed off pigs all in the name of comfort and style.
