Remember Hem&Haw? They made stretchy, comfortable skinny jeans with a friendly price tag among other essentials: t-shirts and button-ups etc. Well, now they have hooked up with Swedish (I’m guessing) designer, Fredrick Jönsson (yeh, definitely Swedish) of Mjolk to create a aussie-swede baby named Malmö (boy, what a cutie).
Malmö continues Hem&Haw’s love affair with Japanese fabrics, employing durable Japanese cottons. Their A/W 2009 collection features long sleeve cotton shirts, bomber jackets, mac coats, double breasted jacket, knit cardigans, straight leg wool trousers, cotton tess, wool blazers and skinny cotton ties.
**Malmö is here to nuture your look whilst not breaking the bank. Perhaps more importantly, he is here to keep you warm without looking like a wanker. Malmö is ‘never loud or abrasive but refined and subtle’. He’s a nice boy isn’t he, that Malmö. I like his cardigan.
