Raspberry Beret

Before Prince became a symbol (literally), he sang a catchy tune about a little red hat that still enjoys high rotation at house parties. It was all about a lady, a look and a beret "the kind you’d find in a second hand store".

Maggie Scardifield’s jewellery moniker, Raspberry Beret, has transformed Prince’s obsession into a label. Her customised jewellery uses vintage flavour to create statement pieces, the kind you used to**find in second hand stores before they were filled with ‘flammable nightwear and Jeffery Archer’.

Maggie also customises pre-loved pieces. In consultation with you, she re-works old rings, gems, broken chains and metals into spanking new designs. Seriously, the lady could make a turquoise and leather choker trendy. And rhinestones? A cinch. Prince would be proud.
