SLOW DANCE oozes style. Deadpan attitude, a post-punk sparseness, a 50s doomed love song and filmic storytelling. Mix up The Vaselines, The Modern Lovers, and Young Marble Giants in a bowl, add a dash of eerie, and you’re close.**It’s interesting to hear how a generation of young bands is influenced by indie rock classics. While many successfully ape the sound and attitude, for some it’s just superficial sheen. But Jeremy’s got something more. He’s got mystique and class – and he’s got it in spades.
