MUM are turning 3, and to celebrate they’re having an ENORMOUS party featuring Richard in Your Mind, Megastick Fanfare, Howl, The Frowning Clouds and MORE. Also, they made us a mixtape!

1. What can people expect from Mum this weekend?

Claustrophobic awesome chaos with 20 bands playing live and 20 indie DJs across all four rooms at World Bar.

2. What makes a good mixtape?

Enough songs you recognise to make you comfortable and enough new songs you dont recognise to teach you more about your next favourite band.

3. What’s your favourite track on the mix?

Howl – Anyone but us. These guys will be huge. If they were from Brooklyn then NME would have already hyped them as ‘the next big thing’. Alas they are from Ballarat and The Ballarat Courier thinks they are ‘Pretty good’.

4. Got something in your back pocket for the ladies?

I have a wallet in there but it hasnt got much cash in it, just a World Bar Love Card, a really old condom and other drink cards I’ve collected from various clubs: sorry ladies. But I do have an amazing roster of totally shit dad jokes and I’m happy to share them with anyone regardless of how many times you tell me not to.

5. What will you be wearing?

A moustache, headphones and a bowtie –the rest is optional.
