Big Pinkco: Cy and Dusty
published on 12th August, 2009

To stereotype our living environments is ineffable – we are a diverse breed. I like cactus garden, you like mezzanine. Utlising our external and internal architectural space is increasingly informed by a societal push towards the self-referential home.

For one day, Andre Stitt and Tony Schwensen will perform the re-decoration of a house in Minto over 12 hours. In an attempt to question the relationships of interior and exterior space, without installing a garage sale, they assume the role of Cy & Dusty, guerilla house painters who aspire to be artists with social morals.**Embracing social issues of communal planning, withdrawal, order and disorder with more personal challenges like memory, loss, and denial, you are invited to help bend the balustrade and sample architectural vertigo.
