GAS 07
published on 4th September, 2007

During the 1980’s break-dance culture craze, graffiti wars took over the subway trains and streets of Brooklyn and the Lower East Side. The Rock Steady Crew was at the eye of the storm and thanks to GAS’07, they are representing right here, right now, in Sydney.

Doze Green has arrived to inspire with his ol’ skool graff skills vs a continued hard-hitting presence in NY art scene. You’ve seen him in STYLE WARS and THE RUN UP, now come and see him paint live with local boys Ben Frost and Kill Pixie. They’re putting up a massive co-lab wall piece that is definitely not to be missed.

Along with the big-timers, GAS ’07 is hosting a selection of up-and-coming artists from around the world such as Nanami Cowdroy, Beck Wheeler, Trent Whitehead, Jota One and many more. Bathtubs of free alcohol will be flowing at the opening from generous sponsors – so get there early ‘cause the fun ends at 9pm sharp. If you’re not putting that straight into your hectic social diary, I gotta ask ‘what planet are you living on?’
