Now this is a group show, a big-ass group show. Greg Perano has curated over 100 artists’ work in 23 different sketchbooks that he sent out to all corners of the globe a little over a year ago. He’s also put together over 50 original pieces for the show. With international artists such as Tony Conrad and the photography of Derek Henderson and Hugh Stewart exhibiting alongside a hand drawn card by Billy Zane or an illustration by a young Pixie Geldof, YOU CAN COUNT TO TEN is as geographically diverse as it is unique.**The former Hunters & Collectors member imposed the underused ‘all work must have a piece of tape on it’ rule to ensure that the artist would think beyond their usual creative realm. Bring a chair and maybe even a desk, there’s a lot to look at.
