Paper. Fabric. Film canisters. A dog’s tooth. Beeswax. Ceramic. Willow bark. Coral. Phone circuit boards. Dried Lichen. Acrylic. Leather. A toothbrush. Coal. Felt. An Australian everlasting daisy.

There’s a lot more than metal at this year’s PROFILE, the biennial award exhibition of selected works from members of the NSW Jewellers and Metalsmiths Group of Australia – on show until this weekend at the lovely HORUS & DELORIS gallery.

**Featuring clusters of rubies, pearls, silver and pink wax strung on cotton thread, Melinda Young’s jewelley set (pictured), was announced winner of the ‘general’ prize on opening night, while Bridget Kennedy’s necklace of oxidized silver, coal and beeswax, took the prize in the ‘emerging’ category.

Drop by and see both their works, alongside 36 others, and find out what some of our most interesting local jewellery and object designers have been up to.
