So began Trent’s latest series, THE CHRISTMAS TREE BUCKET. Opening Thursday November 20 at the ACP, the body of work comprises eerie, banal and beautiful images taken by him at Christmas time over the last four years. Expect cocktail frankfurts boiling on the stove, televisions, the back yard, a Christmas tree stripped of its foliage, children’s toys, Santa, and just a touch of vomit.**Trent is driving up from suburban Adelaide for the show with his wife and kids. He will be at the opening Thursday, dressed as The Grinch, and all are welcome. Come as your favourite Christmas character. BYO bucket.
