If nothing else, this is the month where boring interior design and ‘lifestyle’ magazines become filled with smug articles about ‘starting the year off on a good step’ by ‘de-cluttering your home’. You should also do things like taking polaroids of expensive designer high heels and glueing them on the front of shoe boxes as a ‘practical storage solution.’

Thankfully, there is also THE SELBY. The website is run by Todd Selby, an photographer who takes photos of artists, designers and creative types in their homes and studios.**If you’ve ever wanted to know what Lesley Arfin’s house looked like, now you know (and it’s real tidy – go Lesley!). There’s artist Olaf Breuning, colette founder Sarah, musician Bobb Bruno, and a phwor Erin Wasson. Seems there’s a lifestyle voyerist in all of us.
