The Tent
published on 8th July, 2009

The performance nights on the school camps I went to were always terrible and none of the tents I slept in were ever anything like this!

The Tent is a structure hand built by artists Matthew Prest, Claire Britton, Daniel Egger and Eddie Sharp out of scrap metal and old oil-stained truck canvas. It serves as an installation work, but also as the venue for the performance.**With all artists coming from a multi-disciplinary background, be it performance, installation, sculpture, photography, video or all of the above, you can expect this to be a visually fierce event. Each performance is for an audience of twenty members and there will be just eight performances in total, so only 160 people will witness this spectacle, making it a very private and personal affair.
