Tiny Stadiums Festival

While at LOOK we do focus on looking, we don’t discriminate against occasional hearing and smelling when appropriate. In fact, we think there’s a time and a place for all the senses – and one particular time and place we are excited about is Erskineville for the next few weeks, home to the sensory delights of the Tiny Stadiums Festival.

Giant kaleidoscopic dynamite, interactive word games, aerobic romps, a DVD archive of national and international arts projects and a karaoke masseuse take over shop fronts, pub televisions, parklands and the local town hall.**By night, a Smell-O-Vision Double Bill serves up the multi-sensory music experience of James Brown’s ASISTHESIS and takes us to the dark depths of package tourism with spat+loogie’s acclaimed video goggle project HOLIDAY.

A word of warning – the ‘tiny’ bit is entirely literal. Get in early and be prepared to rub shoulders.
