Cinema Alley

Description:
Beyond the occasional craving for piping hot dumplings, there seems to be little call to frequent the back streets of Haymarket after dark. However, in celebration of the Chinese New year, 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art will transform Parker Street into an alfresco cinema, screening the animated works of two highly renowned Chinese artists. The double bill includes Yang Fudong’s lyrical tale An Estranged Paradise and Te Wei’s animation classic The Cowboy’s Flute. – MW
