Cyrus

Description:
Look, I’m just going to put it out there – fat people are funny. It’s true, proven by science in fact. So, it’s no surprise that when you combine two of the fatter people in show business the result is pure comedic bliss. As is the case with Cyrus, the tale of a young man (Jonah Hill) with some serious mummy issues that come to the fore when his mother (Marisa Tomei) begins to date an awkward, self-deprecating divorcee named John (John C. Reilly). The wince-factor is high but the bright cast and smart dialogue ramp up the emotional register for an altogether enjoyable experience.
