I tried to be witty about this but there’s just too much to explain. Daniel Askill‘s new exhibition ARTEFACTS FROM THE FIFTH RITUAL is an insight into his new work in progress, UNIVERSAL MACHINE. As a stand-alone exhibition this showcase of video, sculptural and photographic work, is nothing short of visually stunning. But it’s more than that. Expanding on the concepts explored in WE HAVE DECIDED NOT TO DIE, ARTEFACTS forms part of a larger, more ambitious body of work, inspired by THE REVERSIBLE DESTINY PROJECT and now taking on a life all of its own. – JG
