Concentrating on one thing at a time won’t win you any fans in this day and age. In a wave of collective musical ADHD it seems that traversing a broad catalogue of genres is the only way to get attention and El Guincho is riding that wave. Billed as a tropical rave hero surfing afrobeat, calypso, trance and doo wop, El Guincho supported the spirited Architecture in Helsinki last year and is back to push the envelope. – JB
