Greco-Roman Sydney Match

At first glance ‘Greco-Roman Match’ implies some sort of Brad-oiled Achilles showdown with a Joaquin Caesar. But no! We’re talking music, not history. This Greco-Roman is a London-based record label that has released the likes of Buraka Som Sistema and Grosvenor, not to mention remixes from Hot Chip and Drop The Lime. To pass time between recording sessions, the label throws last-minute, no-promo parties, which have found their way to a Spanish den in Sydney. Out of respect to GR’s roots the promotion stops here, with the exception of this little zinger: the Hot Chip DJs will actually be playing live! Oh, and dress in your olympic or wrestling best. (We wouldn’t want you to look silly now.)- NS
