Guy Blackman – Adult Baby Album Launch

This is exactly what Morrissey would have sounded like when he was 16. Raw and slightly confused, but charming nonetheless. After being part of the well remembered Melbourne groups Sleepy Township and Minimum Chips, Guy Blackman has been frequently described as Melbourne’s ‘it boy’. Musicians like Jens Lekman, Art of Fighting‘s Peggy Frew, some of the kids from the Dirty Three, Fabulous Diamonds, Pikelet and Eddy Current have all thrown there hands up to help out with Blackman’s debut album. The Launch is at Spectrum with support from The Crayon Fields and a very special guest. – HM
