Is This It?

Description:
Technology gave us the wheel and the pop art toaster, but it should have stopped there. Now it’s all global warming and tweets. It’s the gradual disappearance of album art as music zooms from the internet to ears without so much as a glimpse of the cover. Ugh! Thankfully, artist David Homer has identified this problem and set about rescuing the record sleeve. His new exhibition Is This It? contains over twenty interpretations of his all time favourites, in oil paints to boot. – DZ
