A London-born artist of Australian-Nigerian heritage who has spent the last decade working from Rome after a while spent in New York, Jebila Wolfe-Okongwu has been making pictures and sculptures of and about bananas. The works are looking at what they evoke in terms of the sexual, the slapstick and the geopolitical. There are just so many ways to conceptually unpeel these guys!
