Jingle Jangle 2

Legend has it that long ago last year, Jingle Jangle co-founder Smokey La Beef was preparing to host a party at his home. He had purchased a wonderfully large deck for the occasion on which to spin some swell tunes. His ever sweet, ever gracious girlfriend was (of course) delighted, but issued Smokey with a friendly warning: ‘Just try not to play that 50s Jingle Jangle all night ok?’ He didn’t, but he would. Jingle Jangle is an entire night devoted to music from the 1920s-1960s. This month’s guest performer is Jay Katz and hosts Smokey and Mike will be playing rock ‘n’ roll, soul and 50s-60s pop to their hearts’ content. – NS
