Why should you pay $30 for Kelley Stoltz? There are a few reasons. One, his music is a cool mix of guitar rock, country croon and shambolic vocals. Two, his touring band includes Mikey Young from Eddie Current Supression Ring. Three, he’s playing with locals Richard In Your Mind, who mix a wicked dose of psych rock encompassing a sitar, planflute and air organ. Four, the San Franciscan’s sound is a darn sweet break from all that electro-indie-new-wave-pop we’ve been hoiking. – RF
