Low-Fi and Loving It

Remember when the tape deck would chew your cassette and you’d have to re-spool the ribbon with a biro? Tactile experiences like that are a rare breed these days, but a genuine possibility at Low-Fi and Loving It: New Dogs, Old Tricks. Tim Maybury, on behalf of Das Superpaper, curates this exhibition in which artists and performers breathe new life into old-fangled mediums. Greedy Hen, Brown Council, Moonmilk, Bababa International, Ghoul, Jessica Tyrrell and Bird In The Hand Zine Distro come together as a part of Creative Sydney. Like a 60 minute mixed tape, only live. – CB
