Midnight Morning – Book Launch & Exhibition

MIDNIGHT MORNING is a collaborative illustrative book from three of Sydney’s finest – Matt Huynh, Haline Ly and Will Loeng. It is hard to convey how unique the style of each artist is, without unifying them under a single banner. Matt’s illustrations depict mundane and surreal situations, while commenting on something deeper. Haline’s art, looks like it came straight out of Super Mario or Pokemon; each piece seems to wear a giant smile. Lastly, Will’s work feels like a cross between MONTY PYTHON and ALICE IN WONDERLAND. There’s a sense of nostalgia, but it’s not yours. If this sounds like your cup of tea, an exhibition is being held for the release of the book at the Rococo Production warehouse. You can also buy the book fromhere. P.S. Music and booze provided. – DW
