Names and Places

Description:
Sit down with some tequila and lime and check this shit out. Nine artists – six in Mexico and three in Australia – have been collaborating online to concieve, design and present an art exhibition opening in Surry Hills. Using the wonders of modern technology, the group, separated by a bajillion miles and connected by computers, has democratically developed the project from go to WOAH. The result explores the problems and possibilities presented to art by globalisation in this brave new world. This is an experiment you want to see to its end, as a dynamic group of strangers reconciles radically different contexts, cultures and techniques into one, beautiful thing. – JB
