Now Now Festival

Ahh, the Blue Mountains. With its swaying gums, long haul hippies and bric a brac – what better locale for spontaneous music and experimental film? If you are partial to kicking back in the grass and un-offended by a pounding bongo then this will be right up your pipe. Magda Mayas‘s wailing piano is coming in from Berlin, Eugene Chadbourne‘s bringing his brassy harmonica and plucked banjo from North Carolina and the Splinter Orchestra are hauling in from Sydney. Sights and sounds provided; BYO Patchouli. – NS
