“And then my mind split open!” shouted Lou Reed in the Velvet Underground’s song ‘And I Called Her Name’. Patrick Dagg was lucky to not have suffered the same fate in a recent car accident, which is the inspiration for his latest exhibition at Damien Minton Annex. Spurred on by this life-changing event Dagg has cracked open his creative consciousness to produce a beautiful collision of rhythmic, abstracted paintings and decorated ceramics.
