Artists don’t get jealous right? They’re too chilled, too open-minded, too at peace with the karmic forces of the universe, huh? If another artist finds success they’d cheerily gather some confetti and make daisy chains, yeah? Or would they use those pointy paint brushes to do some real damage? Mark Ravenhill’s (SHOPPING AND F*CKING) new play follows four visual artists united in jealousy against the fifth member of ‘The Group’, who has achieved international success. – JB
