Teki Latex

Teki Latex sounds quintessentially French, but in a cool hip-hop way, which in my mind’s eye looks something like cross between Feadz and a tough Olivier Martinez. What he actually looks like is an overgrown British child in neon clothes. If you can deal with the inevitable cognitive dissonance, you should get to this show. As a member of TTC, and one of the founders of awesome independent French label, INSTITUBES he knows his jams. It’s all going down in a converted shipping container which is reputed to have the vibe of New Orleans Carnivale…goes to show looks can be deceiving. – JG
