The Cranes are Flying

Fancy a night of film but don’t feel like staring at Miley Cyrus’s mug for an hour? Then you’ll want to head along to the Art Gallery of NSW to watch The Cranes are Flying, a big winner at Cannes in 1958. A black and white Russian film of love-war-love-death-love-Communism-and we mustn’t forget love, it also features some well timed one liners, kooky cinematography and a charming soundtrack. Just don’t forget to bring your reading glasses.
