The Mess Hall

There’s no better time to catch The Mess Hall. They’ve been ripping all year, picking up the Australian Music Prize and awards for their film clips at the St Kilda Film Fest. I’ve got to be honest though, I’m no long time fan. I recently received their album as an encouragement award when I scored the lowest in a game of Glam-Rock trivia (please note: I wasn’t even trying my hardest, I knew that answering all questions with ‘Play some Metallica!’ and ’69′ wasn’t going to get me any points). It was a game well played though – the album’s great and the show is set to be the same. – HM
