Toon Time

If waking up to three hours of cartoons on a Saturday excites you, read on. Starting September 27, The Chauvel is hosting a unique three-week’s of the stuff. The program includes Yugo Serikawa’s rarely seen feature length THE LITTLE PRINCE AND THE EIGHT HEADED DRAGON, which paved the way for so much anime we know and love. Films from ‘the Japanese Walt Disney’ Ozamu Tezuka, are also showing; this means ASTRO BOY and KIMBA THE WHITE LION. Check the full program for more films and screening times here. – HM
