This may be creepy, but Apartamento is the sort of publication that I like to pick up and smell: in private, in public, it doesn’t matter. I like to flick through the pages about a dozen times to let it wash over me before I settle on an article or an image to really sink into.
It’s the sort of magazine that I’ve stopped lending to friends because I always want it back. I need it near me, always at arm’s length so when my own apartment is messy with an ad-hoc interior it still feels okay.
