Everything Ravaged, Everything Burned
published on 20th September, 2009

This book puts other books to shame like your imaginary Uncle throws meat on the BBQ, effortlessly and with the kind of sizzling sound that suits its title.

Many of the short stories in this debut collection have been previously published in some places you may have heard of such as The Paris Review, The New Yorker and McSweeney‚ so chances are most people reading this are going to realise that the extent of my ignorance is matched only by Wells Tower’s talent.

It would also be a mistake to try and do his words justice through these words which, in comparison, have about as much linguistic agility and feeling as a little toe. So, in closing, Everything Ravaged is a book. Read it.
