How much:
Hardcover $48**You may know David Cross as wannabe actor/licensed analyst and therapist – or ‘Analrapist’ – Tobias Fünke from Arrested Development. But his role in that chucklefest can’t even begin to showcase his balls-to-the-wall brand of comic genius.

Between his stand-up and Grammy Award-nominated comedy albums, he is consistently obliterating the oh-so delicate sensibilities of the overly PC left with as much fervour as the religious right – "All my friends are always telling me how hard it is to have kids. ‘Oh, David, it’s so hard.’ That’s not hard. I’ll tell you what hard is. Try talking your girlfriend into her third consecutive abortion. Yeah, that’s hard, that takes finesse" – making him just peachy in my book.**Released care of his company, Liberal Jew-Run Media Productions, Inc., this collection of essays and satirical stories has all the observational humour of David Sedaris with the added thrill of a Lisa Lampanelli-esque delivery.

Not sold? Then it’s worth buying for the bio on the jacket alone. After briefly outlining Cross’s background and past accomplishments, it goes on to mention the fact that he’s "currently f*cking Amber Tamblyn" while including a picture of The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants actress’s father in place of the author photograph.

Solid. Gold.
