These art-nouveau-graphic-novel-Hello-Kitty-inspired illustrations are an expression of three Sydney-based illustrators’ temperamental journey of love and devastation.
In fact, this illegitimate love child of Matt Huynh, Haline Ly and Will Loeng will bring Lolita-like impropriety into the hearts of any art lover – MIDNIGHT MORNING is a visual ditty full of whimsy and a great perve, mixed with the kind of wham you’d expect from SAMURAI PIZZA CATS.**Of course, MIDNIGHT MORNING is no OLD MAN AND THE SEA, but if, hypothetically, Huynh, Ly and Loeng were to fall into a permanent state of inebriation, a cocktail should more than rightly be named after them.
