The Death of Bunny Munro, by Nick Cave
published on 27th July, 2009

There once was a certain famous singer/songwriter/poet/novelist’s son who snuck into a fundraising party I organised without paying. It wasn’t so much that he snuck in, rather barged through with the sense of entitlement that being the son of an Australian cultural icon can give you.

Often I’ve thought about wearing a big bunny suit and hunting him down and now I know where I can find that bunny suit – on the cover of his Dad’s latest book, The Death of Bunny Munro, which will have an early release this Wednesday at Polyester Books.**Also, in case this wasn’t enough of a scoop for you, the first 10 people to purchase the book from Polyester will apparently receive a rare photo of Nick Cave taken by Debbie Nettleingham in the ‘90s, standing in front of paintings of Keith Richards and Dennis Hopper. It’s a collectors item, so get in early. Or if you don’t, just knock some suckers out of the f*cking way.
