Like a cuckolded lover, I spent countless months struggling through Scandinavian fashion websites for any glimpse of Carin Wester. A little grey jumpsuit here, a cropped turtle neck knit there. Words like ‘skor’ and ‘skyddsomslag’ rolled forth from my tongue, I could convert the Swedish Kroner into Australian dollars whilst assembling an Olof lamp and eating the meatballs I’d gotten from the IKEA  foodcourt.

But no longer will I be marinating my keyboard in the smelly sweat of confusion as I painfully trawl through virtual Sweden with only Google Translate and a memory of my friend’s racist Swedish grandpa (true story) to guide me. The incredible Carin Wester has finally launched her own online store IN ENGLISH.**Don’t let my flawless grammar and exclamation-mark restraint deceive you. I am very, very excited about this. The forward-thinking label has been collecting awards like it’s first grade all over again, and the prices are so good you’ll have to change your pants (shoes are more expensive – but no less sex-able). The yellow velvet dress, the black wedge boots, the men’s high-waist pleat pants… you’ll be jävlar’ing in your benkläder.
