Dolly Up

Vintage is supposed to be rare, right? It’s supposed to be old, worn and therefore a little precious. It’s supposed to be treasured for its other-worldliness, for its connection to way-back-when-times where people wore mink collars, tie-die pants or too much mascara.

And yet, ‘vintage’ is everywhere. It’s here, here and here. It’s overpriced, receding in quality and sold by a guy in hot pants that barely cover his gools.
It must stop somewhere. And that somewhere might just be Dolly Up.

The vintage collection at Dolly Up didn’t start out to be sold, but to be loved. Owner Erin has harboured a vintage pursuit since she was in stirrup pants, and Dolly’s collection shows it. From $65 sundresses to $999 ball gowns, the range is carefully cultivated, and Erin is on hand to alter pieces at the there and then.
