E L L E R Y Pop-Up
published on 15th December, 2011

Focusing its lens on the incomparably fa-ine Dutch model Kim Noorda at a stunning Parisian chateau somewhere, the E L L E R Y Resort 2011 collection might hurt your soul a little. It’s a vision of aching peach print-work, sculpted bodices, delicately beaded belly-grazers and tan head-scarves that whisper of afternoons spent sipping soda pop in the countryside.

We said she was one to watch back in ’07, and Perth-born designer Kym Ellery certainly hasn’t let our crystal ball down. Rated in a Vogue Australia ‘Talent Time’ line-up, courted by Madge’s stylist, stepped into by the myriad Talulahs, Julia Nobises, and Bambis of the fashion world, E L L E R Y is the tall poppy we can’t help but begrudgingly like.

Setting up shop in the Strand Arcade for a slice of the summer months, the E L L E R Y pop-up will stock a range of current season threads, hopefully with minimal injury inflicted to our poor lil souls.
