IMOK
published on 1st August, 2006

IMOK is the brainchild of two loony ladies from Sydney who wanted to dash some creative flair through the air. And dash they did. Upon wall and t-shirt, skateboard and scarf, IMOK images are somewhere between stencil art, graffiti and high school desktop doodling. Most of their designs feature little critters of contentment among colourful chaos, targeting tweekers that share the IMOK philosophy to create a world that says I’m ok… if you are.**First stocked in Elvis 4 Cleo in Newtown, IMOK is now springing up all over our wide land. Curious Eidolon in Melbourne and Chapel Gesture in Adelaide have jumped on the bandwagon. The girls’ designs will also feature in this year’s Young Blood Designer Market at the Powerhouse Museum. It runs as part of Sydney Design 06 on the 11 and 12 of August.
