Penny Arcade Pop Up Shop
published on 23rd February, 2009

The recession made it offical: downsizing is the new upsizing, less is more and, um, like attracts like. Moving with the times, Penny Arcade has left its loft in Surry Hills to pop up in World Square.

The three month pop up shop will stay true to Penny Arcade’s 1960s light wood, olive-and-orange scheme; with Bracewell and vintage pieces on the racks.**The old shall be balanced by new labels such as Bec & Bridge, Sam Elsom and others. Each stocked designer has also been involved in the store’s fit out.

Hopefully, if there’s one upside to recession, it’s this sort of invention
