I’m not saying capitalism is evil.  But I’d much rather shop at a store built with passion than one that’s squarely aimed at making a quick buck.

Welcome to Repressed Records, where the staff enthusiastically hand-write reviews of beloved albums (on CD and vinyl), and the store is chockers with DIY zines, 7″s, books, used mags, cult DVDs, band t-shirts, and a very cool mix of punk, indie, soul, black metal, garage, psych, and “whatever is hard to find yet devastatingly brilliant”.

**This beaut of a new store near Newtown station is actually the end result of 6 years hard work at their old locale in Penrith.  This explains the large amount and great variety of stock.

But don’t take my word for it – go buy a Chrissie present there now!  You could even shop online, lazy bastard, or read and subscribe to their newsletter right here.  Get repressed.
