Reverse Garbage claim to be “the experts in reuse.” I am the expert of cheapness, hoarding, and buying cool but usually useless items. This means that Reverse Garbage and I became well acquainted a long time ago. This Aladdin’s Cave is great for finding anything from cheap art supplies to second hand furniture, but serial junk buyers like myself must be wary. On my last visit I walked away with a bed and a bike for under thirty dollars. Great! But, I also bought a Mickey Mouse figurine, a plastic light-sabre and some colourful electrical wires. Do I need these things? No. Do I have room for these things? No. But could I afford these things? YES!

Making the trip to Reverse Garbage is well worth it, but while revelling in their ‘reduce, re-use, recycle’ mentality, we recommend you use a little restraint too. Otherwise you might just end up with a styrofoam Death Star to match your Light-sabre. Say yes to no.
