Many people associate Bangkok with bargain fisherman’s pants, travelling dreadlocks and a lot of dirt-caked sweat that turns into a sort of dirt-caked goo given 10 minutes in the sun. They generally don’t link the city with babydoll dresses, lace up ankle boots, immaculately cropped bobs and silky smooth hosiery.

**Sretsis is one ‘new gen’ Thai label working to change Bangkok’s sweating stereotype. Born from three sisters (Parson’s School of Design-trained) Pim, Kly and Martina, the 4-year-old label prides itself on dressing up in sweet-as-pie silks, light cottons and yes, boot and tights, even in 41 degree heat.
