Socialism has given us many great things over the years: beards, the smurfs, trade unions and now The Rizzeria printer. Based in Workshop Showroom Gallery in St Peters, The Rizzeria is a printing press cooperative and the best place to get any sort of printing done in Sydney.
It’s favoured by heaps of Sydney artists and groups including Texta Queen, Black&Blue Gallery, The Imperial Panda Festival and Leigh Rigozzi. Plus it’s an old school two tone printer so everything comes out looking like an instantly classic gig poster from the 80s.**Obsessive designers love The Rizzeria because they can control everything, from how much ink goes on to the paper, to the type of paper that is used – something that would normally be impossible at a commercial printers.
At something like 20 cents a print its ridiculously cheap, even cheaper if you sign up as a comrade.
