‘Venus In Furs’ is a track you probably don’t remember from 1967. Largely because you weren’t born. THE VELVET UNDERGROUND is a 1995 film starring some nude Dutch nobodies; the name also belongs to a classic novel written by Leopald Von Sacher-Masoch, first published in 1870.

The latter was inspiration for the aforementioned, cementing the strong theme of sexual slavery seen in each artistic arm. Continuing with this creative license is a Camperdown boutique, not-so-incidentally named Venus In Furs.**Period and costume style dresses can be made to order or bought off the racks, as well as indulgent accessories and varied luxurious items like home-made soap. Owner Tamara is an extremely imaginative, established and capable costumer.
